As an intentionally-small, community embedded learning environment, our school allows us to serve every child and family in deep and meaningful partnership with their teacher leaders. This unique structure also creates unique needs. Because spending time in nature is an integral part of our school we have regular transportation costs and outdoor gear to maintain and replace. Because equity is integral to our school we: support families who cannot afford full tuition with scholarships, supplement healthy snacks and emergency lunch supplies for those who experience food insecurity at home, and stock our school “garage” with borrowable gear, so each child can be warm and dry outside.

Our tuition is set at a price that makes this school attainable to many income levels and creates diversity in our classrooms. Our community of families is very supportive of our efforts, but we are a small group.
